IWB???
IWB is an interactive whiteboard and we call it SMART BOARD. It is a piece of hardware that looks much like a standard whiteboard but it connects to a computer and projector in the classroom to make a very grade and powerful tool. When connected, the interactive whiteboard becomes a giant, touch-sensitive version of the computer screen. But before used, we must calibrate it first to get the proper function.
What i got from IWB
a) i can control my laptop through the interactive whiteboard screen just by touching it with a special pen or my finger. but because i'm small so it difficult for me to touch the upper board..my friends just laught at me..although, i'm still can calibrate the board before used it.
b) anything that can be accessed from my laptop can be accessed and displayed on the interactive whiteboard such as PowerPoint presentations, photographs, online materials and so on.
c) i also can interact with the images and text projected on the board, rearranging them, changing the size, colour, etc. so it make my presentations more interactive.
d) it offers a much more interactive experience than using a standard whiteboard or using a data projector alone. i can make the interactive activities using this and my friends did't felt bored.
e)it have a lot of animations that make presentations cool.
